My Bio

After graduating from Vonore High School in 1992, I continued my education at Hiwassee College where I graduated with an Associate of Arts in Business Administration/Music Education. I taught piano lessons for twenty-two years and taught art and music classes at Cross Creek Christian School. I felt drawn to apply at Vonore Middle School as an Exceptional Education Aide and am so happy I did!  I love kids and can't think of anything I'd rather do than help them.

I am currently working on my Bachelor of Arts with dual licensure in Special Education Mild to Moderate K-8 with Intervention and Elementary Education K-8 at Western Governor's University. I am also blessed with being able to share my love for art by teaching art classes at Madisonville Public Library!

I love playing the piano, gardening, reading, and spending time at home with my family and cats!
