Julie Easter

Welcome to 7th grade language arts! My goal is to help students grow and have a fabulous 7th grade experience. I was raised in Monroe County and am a graduate of Madisonville High School. My education includes an A.S. in Human Services from Hiwassee College, B.S in Social Work from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and an M.S. in Education from Lincoln Memorial University in the area of curriculum and instruction. My teaching experience includes three years in Loudon County where I was awarded "Loudon County New Teacher of the Year" in 2010. After taking some time off to spend with my children, I entered Monroe County teaching RTI. In 2018 I began my first year at Vonore Middle School. I love teaching and am so thankful to be part of the Vonore Middle School team.
